Buy One Get Give One! Ever since the excitement over TOMS shoes (and now sunglasses) erupted, I was curious if there were any other organizations with similar motives. Despite the criticism of these particular organizations, here is a short list of BOGO organizations. If you really want to help someone while receiving an item of your own needs as well, then continue to read!

Hugg the World Shirts – Hidden message. Exposed truth. Buy one and give a shirt!
Kaia and Me Underwear – You heard right, folks. This organization donates a pair of underwear to someone who, well, doesn’t have access to any! Especially helpful for women. From a variety of colors and styles like boy shorts and panties with funny words, you can buy one of these products for ~$15+.
Glasses

141 Eyewear – This punny organization donates a pair of stylish black frames to those who cannot afford it. Seriously, walking around with blurred vision can give you a huge headache!
Optimo Sunglasses – Stylish shades is no stranger to this organization. With Facebook specials, this organization donates a pair of glasses to someone who can’t, well, see very well.
Blankets
The Company Store Comforters – Blankets are so important while sleeping, so why not purchase a thick comforter while helping someone else?
Happy Blankie – Who doesn’t want to cuddle in an animal-shaped blanket? Well if you’re interested in one of these cute blankets, you should know that you’re helping a child in the hospital or in an orphanage.
Food and Water
Two Degrees Nutrition Bars – Delicious healthy, all-natural and gluten-free snacks are being encouraged by moms everywhere. So why limit yourself by helping your own child live a healthy life when you can help children in need?
Thank You Water – Available at retailers across Austrailia, this ambitious organization sells water bottles to fund water projects around the world.
MinoMonos Island Gold Membership – This creative organization gives clean water for a child in India. This spin off of popular social networking games like Habbo Hotel gives you an option to purchase a 1 month, 6 month or 12 month subscription.
Light
Ikea Sunnan Lamp – A solar-powered lamp is given to a household that has no electricity when this $20 lamp is bought. We might take artificial lamps for granted, but I guarantee that children will appreciate being able to do homework at night!
One Million Lights – These solar LED flashlights can be sold to give someone else a flashlight. You can also donate to this organization!
Bogo Light – These solar-powered and colourful flashlights can also help someone in need. Right now, they’re helping Haiti.
One World Futbol – Imagine a soccer ball that never deflates. Now imagine giving that away to a community who needs it! That’s what this amazing organization does, and I think it’s an incredibly awesome idea.
One Less Need Dental Care – It’s important to brush your teeth twice a day and floss once a day, so why shouldn’t those who may be given light, glasses, shoes and other items lack this essential in life? Buy one of their products and donate one to another person!
Ecojot Sketchbook – It’s hard enough to get a good education these days, but what about getting the supplies for a proper education? Well, you can give a child a sketchbook or pencil when you buy one of their creative products!
Bucket Feet – Giving 5 per cent of sales towards art, music and sports may not seem like much; but money accumulates and any amount of money a non-profit organization receives is much appreciated!
Beers for Books – A really crazy idea; donating $1/drink to provide books for children around the world. Isn’t that neat?! All you need to do is plan a night for this event to happen, and invite all your friends!
