Today, I want to take everyone to EVERLAND which is the biggest theme park in South Korea and it’s not in Seoul.  It was really easy to get there but it did take me 2 hours.

Everland, located in Yongin, is a huge theme park which includes a zoo, snow sledding, and botanical garden. Everland has three distinct themes, Festival World, Caribbean Bay, and Speedway. Festival World has a global fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure, and Equatorial Adventure. Caribbean Bay is a water park that contains swimming pools and fun water facilities. You have to pay separate entrance fees for each theme and since Festival World is the the biggest theme in Everland that was the one I chose.

When I got in the first facility I went to see is the roller coaster and the one in Everland is the biggest and steepest wooden roller coaster in Asia, pretty impressive.

This is the picture I took on the tram. The thrilling part was the 70 degree angle which was very scary when you are sitting at the first roll and looking down while you are on the top. I sprained my neck when I was riding this roller coaster but luckily I survived.

After playing some more facilities I went to the zoo to see some cute AND dangerous animals. There was a place called wild animal world where you ride a bus and go around a small forest that contain many wild animals which includes white tiger, lion, bear ex.

This bear came up to our bus and pounded on the window to say hello.

After the ride I just walked in the zoo to observe some animals

This is the cutest animal I found in Everland and is a specie of fox. I stood there for 5 minute just to see them.

There was a part that’s designed for tourist to see baby animals and here is a baby monkey.

As I finished with the zoo I needed to find some where to hang out while I waited for the afternoon parade so I went to the rose garden and it was beautiful.

Around 6pm I finally saw the parade which is just beside the rose garden.

The squirrel in the picture actually ran to me and pated me on my shoulder. Guess he didn’t want me sitting there by myself.

There are more shows at night and more facilities that only open at night but unfortunately I had to go back to my hotel because it was getting dark and ended my fun day.
