Have you ever wanted to study, work or volunteer abroad?

This is your chance! A Study and Go Abroad Fair is coming here to Calgary and it’s the perfect opportunity to get more information on how to do just that. It’s said that the world is like a book, and those who don’t travel only see one page. Essentially, the more you travel, the more you’ll learn. As a result, you’ll not only gain new skills, but also a broader worldview. But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself. Without further ado, here are all of the things you need to know about this fair!

What: Meet with top universities from around the world, including Canada, for undergrad or postgrad programs. Find out how to study, work, intern, or volunteer abroad. Meet with representatives from world-class universities, such as medical schools from the Caribbean, law and business schools from the UK, Swiss hotel management schools and much more.

Price: Admission is free.

Where: Calgary TELUS Convention Centre (120 9 Ave SE)

When: Wednesday, October 7 from 2pm to 6pm. It’s recommend that people arrive early at 1pm for the feature seminar on ‘Travel, Work or Study? No need to choose!’.

What to Look Out For: Besides the feature seminar, other seminars will be held throughout the day on various topics including ‘Take an undergrad or postgrad degree in the UK’, ‘The Search for Scholarships’ and ‘Study in Spain’.Visit the Travel Zone to find out how you can work abroad, improve your career prospects by taking an internship, or learn a language. Find out about admission requirements, scholarships, and program choices in exciting destinations.
