1. IGNITE! FESTIVAL
What: Emerging Calgarian artists have the opportunity to showcase their exciting creative works. The 2015 festival presents a selection of exciting new voices, playwrights and performers, and will showcase theater companies and artists for three days straight.

2. A DAY AT THE MUSEUM
What: “Celebrate National Aboriginal Day with Blackfoot Beading workshops, First Nations gallery tours and animated Aboriginal films from the National Film Board of Canada. Also, explore ideas presented in our feature exhibitions: have your portrait doodled by one of our caricaturists and get creative in the ARC Discovery Room with India ink fish studies and pointillist patterns.”
When: Saturday June 20th | 9AM-5PM
Cost: $40 for family (2 adults and up to 4 kids) but members have free admission

3. DO IT FOR DADS WALK/RUN
What: This is a family oriented event to raise awareness as well as funds for the cancer that affects many Canadian males. After the 5K walk/run there will be food, prizes, and live entertainment available. There will be face painting and a clown called Snickles who will be performing magic.
When: Sunday June 21st | Registration: 8Am; Walk/Run: 10AM
Cost: Registration is $35 but if you raise $125 they’ll waive it

4. OPEN STREETS CALGARY CYCLE TRACK OPENER
What: Celebrate the opening of the new cycle track network! The event will feature performances by local bands including Highkicks, Tiny Shrine and Windigo. Food trucks will be on site to serve up delicious food and snacks, and there will be fun and games for the whole family. Of course, this is a great chance to take a spin on the full cycle track network with your friends and family.
When: Sunday June 21st | 11AM – 5PM
Cost: FREE!
