Choosing a career path

There are many people out there who don’t know what they want to be when they grow up. You can blame it on becoming apart of a community you didn’t feel like you belonged in. Many times parents contribute to children being unhappy with their jobs. Remember what they say: if you love your job, it will feel as if you have never worked a day in your life. Also, it doesn’t matter what your age is; you shouldn’t feel bad if you don’t know where you want to go with your life and which path you want to take. Choosing what you want to do for your life is a very hard decision. It is never easy making hard decisions so this blog will help you choose what is right for you.

Be prepared

Tests are very important. It is key that you know the information and have a good nights sleep. It all depends on what you’re good at when you’re choosing your career path. Don’t become a doctor if biology isn’t something you enjoy. If you’re doing amazingĀ in chemistry think about majoring in that field of science. There is so much to choose from, and sometimes not enough time to pick!
Make a list
Many times if you get your thoughts and ideas on a piece of paper, they stick. It was said by scientists that the way your paper looks is actually the way your brain looks. The more clear and concise your paper, the clearer your mind will be. Making a list of things your have to do after school allows you to stay on top of things and manage your time.
Review, review, review
Haven’t you heard people at school saying that your book is your best friend? Well, it’s true! Taking some time after school to review your class notes or business notes, whatever it may be, helps your brain retain the information. I remember once I had a test right after Monday and it was something my entire class was unaware of. My teacher thought we were reading our notes and doing our worksheets but most of us weren’t. I spent the entire night cramming, and let me tell you, it was not fun.
Here are some inspirational pictures to keep you motivated.
I hope you guys all find a job that you love. Ask yourself what you enjoy? What do I dislike? I am sure everyone is capable of making their dreams come true. I know it sounds cheesy but it’s reality.
