I am always on the hunt for something new and exciting when it comes to music and beatboxing has always fascinated me. I have tried endlessly over and over again (in the comforts of my room) to figure out how one makes such beats, but every time no flash of brilliance occurs. Now beatboxing on its own generally blows me away, but when I heard about Yuri Lane I knew I had to share his awesome-ness.
Yuri has always been involved in the arts with theatre, mime, improvisation and doing work for commercial and television. Currently Yuri is working on, “From Tel Aviv to Ramallah,” a hip-hop play that tackles the Israeli-Palestinian conflict while emphasizing the humanity, suffering and joy of both Israelis and Palestinians.
