I’ve always found that the best part of the Calgary Stampede was all of the animals. And luckily, I won’t have to wait until July to get in on some more sheep shearing! This weekend, Aggie Days is going on at the Stampede Park and I am extremely excited to have it as a Youth Week event this year. Aggie Days is a free, interactive event showcasing Albertan agriculture. There will be a range of aggie-related activities including cow milking, sheep shearing, a corn maze, and of course, tons of animals! Aggie Days is a great family (and youth) event, so be sure to get into the Albertan spirit and check it out this weekend!
When: Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22, 2012 10:00am – 5:00pm
Where: BMO Centre, Stampede Park (1410 Olympic Way SE)
Cost: FREE!
There will also be tons of other attractions at Stampede Park this weekend, including the Canadian Horseshoeing Championships and the Calgary Stampede Spring Extreme Cowboy Race! Check out the Calgary Stampede’s website for more information on Aggie Days and their other events.
