What do you do if you’re bored, feel like being challenged and/or hope to be (or are) a programmer?
You play Lightbot! A game designed by Coolio_Niato, this game is about a robot who is trying to light up tiles. You can walk, rotate (which is mind-boggling!), jump, light up a tile and call functions. A function essentially holds one specific task; this reduces redundancy and repetition in the main method, which is where it calls these functions as well as tasks that would not be specific to a function.
Confused yet? Don’t worry! There’s a tutorial in the game which is really helpful, even if you’re not a programmer. But having a logical mind is essential! Just don’t freak out and continue to use trial and error. Eventually you’ll be able to complete the game and play the sequel!
I hope you have fun and enjoy this game as much as I do!
