It’s the longest running sitcom on TV. The Simpsons is a very iconic and well-known show. If you’re a Simpsons fan or active on Twitter. You’d know that the show has accurately predicted major historical events, including random ones.

Season 6, Episode 19

Facetime: Lisa visits a fortune teller at a fair and was transported 15 years into the future. She is seen talking to Marge using her phone’s video chat feature called a “picture phone.”

 

Season 11, Episode 17

President Donald Trump: Time travel to the future, where Bart is seen as an adult whereas Lisa is the president of the USA. Unfortunately, she is tasked with cleaning up after the disastrous job left by Donald Trump.

 

Season 9, Episode 3

Ebola Outbreak: Marge trying to get a sick and depressed Bart out of bed and offering to read him the book shown in the picture below. She asks if he’d like to colour something, and he points to a picture.

Season 16, Episode 1: Predicted 2004, Came True: 2020

Lebanon Explosion: This is an accusation, there is no actual proof. A video on tiktok speaking about this caught my attention. In this episode Homer blows up Springfield.

 

Season 5, Episode 10

Roy Horn’s Tiger Attack: In this episode, two german wannabe Siegfried and Roy perform at Mr Burns is opening casino. Their long running show that tragically ends in a tiger attack. Ten years later, Roy was mauled in Las Vegas during one of their performances. Which unfortunately, left him temporarily paralyzed and ending the 13-year production.

 

Season 9, Episode 1

9/11 attack: In this episode, Bart is showing his mother that NYC Bus rides cost $9. In the background, the towers are shown and they line up perfectly with the $9. Forming a 911 symbol.

 

There is no explanation as to how The Simpsons predicted all of these things. But, it is truly impressive.
