Are you tired of being bored all summer? If so I have created a great list of things you can do this summer right here in Calgary!
1. Summer festivals
There are so many different and unique festivals in Calgary all throughout the summer. Try going to the Sun and Salsa festival, or catch up on your folk music with the Folk Music festival or even show your pride at the Calgary Pride parade! Check out this website for a list of all of the festivals happening this summer. You may even find that some of them are free to attend; what a bonus!
2. Go play!
Although it may seem like it, amusement parks aren’t just for little kids; they can actually be super fun! Hanging out at Calaway Park or something as simple as Lazer Tag with your friends is a great way to have fun in the summer. (Don’t forget to go to Stampede this July!)
3.Go shopping downtown
Going downtown is a great place to go shopping, while still being out in the summer heat. 17th Ave is one of the best places to go shopping and has tons of great restaurants for lunch. I suggest checking out the pin-up style dresses at Blame Betty, the amazing sunglasses at Used- House of Vintage, and the stylish clothing and lomography at Dick and Jane’s!
