2013 is here and it is our turn to get our priorities in check and our New Years resolutions in mind. It is time to bid 2012 farewell and like they say, in order to move on, in a new chapter in our lives, we must stop rereading the last one. Let’s rap-up our year on a good note and begin to think about writing our next chapter. Whether you believe in fate or creating your destiny you should begin putting away 2012 but always keeping the knowledge, memories and experiences dear to your heart. For me, a new year means a new beginning or a chance to renovate yourself or even your life.
This New Year I think we should all look into doing good deeds, helping those in need, or even just making others smile. In Calgary itself there are multiple foundations and communities that would appreciate your help or donations.
1. Calgary Interfaith FoodBank
2. Inn From The Cold
3. Senior Citizens homes all around Calgary
4. Salvation Army
5. Mustard Seed
6. Donating To Calgary’s annual fundraiser for the World Partnership Walk
Try and make a change or help those who need it, put away your vanity and ego to make a difference in the world you live in because honestly you can! This year give a little more than you regularly do, smile to make others smile, and make it a fabulous year for every citizen in your city.
